Timing Patterns (Very Reliable)
Timing is one of the most reliable discriminators because it reflects what state you were in when the impression arose. Signal often appears after pressure stops. Noise often appears inside pressure.
Signal often appears
- After effort stops.
- During mundane activity (walking, dishes).
- In pre-sleep or post-waking states.
- Days after you set orientation.
Noise often appears
- During stress.
- During urgency.
- While scrolling or reacting.
- Immediately after stimulation.
Hill’s warning: chasing insight kills it. Create quiet and let it emerge.
