1. The Magnet
Silver is diamagnetic. It shouldn't stick, but it shouldn't fall freely either. Learn the "slide."
2. The Scale
A Morgan Dollar must weigh 26.73g. If it's 24g, it's a fake. If it's 28g, it's a fake.
3. The Calipers
Counterfeiters use lighter metals, so they have to make the coin thicker to match the weight. We catch them here.
