No Data Collection
The AutoCorrect Chrome extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
All spelling corrections are performed locally in the user’s browser. No text, keystrokes, browsing history, or website content is sent to any server.
Local Processing Only
The extension temporarily processes text that the user is actively typing in order to correct common spelling mistakes. This processing occurs entirely in memory and is not logged, saved, or transmitted.
Local Storage
The extension uses Chrome’s built-in storage to save user preferences such as custom dictionary entries, ignore lists, and enable/disable settings. This information is stored locally and is never transmitted outside the user’s browser.
The AutoCorrect extension does NOT:
- Track users
- Collect analytics
- Log keystrokes
- Transmit text or browsing data
- Inject ads or third-party scripts
- Use remote code execution
