3 Ways Not To Go Broke During The Coming Currency Collapse
“IDEAS ARE THE CURRENCY OF LIFE. Not money. Money gets depleted until you go broke. But good ideas buy you good experiences, buy you better ideas, buy you better experiences, buy you more time, save your life. Financial wealth is a side effect of the “runner’s high” of your idea muscle.”
― Claudia Azula Altucher, Become An Idea Machine
Many people need idea therapy. After I started exercising my idea muscle, it was as if a superpower had been unleashed inside my head. It’s like a part of your brain gets opened up and a constant flow of ideas comes to the surface.
Ideas Are The New Currency
Ideas can be worth way more than money.
The most critical skill required today to propel innovation is creativity.
And creativity is in demand like never before!
And mastering creativity will put you in the 1% who can generate creative ideas at will.
Ideas can be used to buy good experiences, buy you better ideas, buy you more time and even save your life.
The more value you bring to others with your ideas, you will bring more value to yourself.
How To Become An Idea Machine
Come Up With 10 Ideas A Day
Coming up with 10 ideas a day is like an exercise for your mind.
And exercise makes the idea muscle stronger.
Writing daily ideas is effective because when we practice making our brains sweat, we become idea machines consistently.
Ideas will explode out of you.
And writing ideas can sometimes be as good as meditation. It silences the monkey mind and allows you to channel the energy that is already there.
What Kind Of Ideas
It doesn’t really matter what kind of ideas. It could be business ideas. Book ideas. Ideas on how to build a better mousetrap.
The important part is to do it every day and get your brain to start exercising.
Just as you would exercise your body, you need to consistently exercise your mind.
Here are a few ideas from the book “Become An Idea Machine”, by Claudia Azula Altucher
- List 10 things you don’t like and then turn them into things you can be grateful for
- Tell me your 10 favorite books of all time and one thing you learned from each
- Come up with 10 new recipes
- Invent 10 new words in Spanish and tell me what they mean
The more specific you can think of, the better.
(And for a list of 180 more questions, get the book)
If you practice this exercise daily, for 180 days you are guaranteed to become a true idea machine in every sense of the word.
Mark this day on your calendar and come back to it in 6 months to see how your life has exploded!
And as you improve, start doing idea SEX. Combining ideas you have had in the past together to get a new and completely brand new idea birthed from their combination.
And as you are writing your list of 10 ideas and you have more than 10, then keep going. Don’t save them for later, but get them out on paper now.
3 Ways Not To Go Broke
Come up with 10 ideas each day on how to make more money.
- 10 ideas on businesses you could start
- 10 ideas on how you could provide more service to your customers or employer
- 10 ideas on a side hustle you could start right now.
You get the idea.
Push past the wall
You may reach a point around question 4 or 7 where you want to quit. Keep going and push through. Allow yourself to feel the tension and persist.
You may have some silly ideas, but they are ideas nonetheless. Flow with the process and churn out your 10 ideas every day.
It may take a few weeks of daily practice to get the mind in gear, but there will be no stopping it once it gets going.
So persist until you succeed.
And if you do come up with a workable idea, take action upon it immediately, even if it is just a small step. You’ll know if it is actionable because you will feel it and the urge to start may be almost irresistible.
But remember that there can be no action without having the idea first.
So start right now to come up with your 10 ideas every day.
