Warnock Accused of Harassment for Subpoena of Ex-Wife’s Transcripts

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Ouléye Ndoye, ex-wife of Senator Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., is fighting his attempt to subpoena her old college records, which he claims are relevant to their child custody battle, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

She is battling the subpoena on the grounds that it is irrelevant to the case and claims his intent is “purely for the purpose of embarrassing and harassing” her.

Warnock subpoenaed Ndoye’s records from Emory University, which would include her school transcripts, grades, immunization records and disciplinary files.

Her attorney requested that the court reject the subpoena, saying it “clearly has absolutely nothing to do with this litigation.”

“None of the requests are relevant, nor will they lead to the discovery of relevant evidence,” said Ndoye’s lawyer in a motion. “They are unduly burdensome, unreasonable, and oppressive.”
