Trump vs. Pence in Georgia Primary

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Former Vice President Mike Pence has stepped into the kingmaker ring with President Donald Trump.

Pence and several other Republican Trump castaways — including Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona, Gov. Pete Ricketts of Nebraska, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — plan to appear at rally in support of embattled Gov. Brian Kemp this weekend, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

As he approaches the Georgia gubernatorial primary on May 24, Kemp is facing a stiff challenge from Trump-endorsed David Perdue, who served as a United States senator from Georgia from 2015 to 2021.

Pence lauded his friendship with Kemp in a pair of Friday tweets announcing his appearance.
