A vibrant and beautiful integration of "Tomorrow" from Annie and "Maria" from West Side Story in a stunning original arrangement by classical pianist Paul Melcher.
Paul Melcher grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from St. Olaf College and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Central Michigan University. With the St. Olaf Choir, Paul performed all over the United States and in Norway, and has played in prestigious halls such as DeVos Hall, Heinz Hall, Severance Hall and Carnegie Hall.
In addition to his keyboard studies, Paul has experience in opera and has sung roles such as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Rodolfo in La Boheme and Rinucchio in Gianni Schicchi with the opera program at Central Michigan University. He has also served for the Opera on the Edge program for Opera Columbus, performing as a collaborative pianist.
Together, Paul and his wife Chelsea co-founded Red School of Music where Paul actively teaches piano and voice lessons to students in the Greater Columbus area.
