PORTLAND, OR – The body of a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing has been located by police floating in a stream about 10 miles from her home, according to police. Her death has been ruled a homicide, but no suspect has been arrested at this time.
Milana Li was described as a “13-year-old runaway” reported missing from her apartment near SW Murray Blvd and SW Scholls Ferry Rd on Monday, May 9. She had been last seen at her apartment by her mother around 4pm Sunday wearing plaid pajama pants and a sweatshirt. Reportedly, she spoke Russian, with English as a second language, with which she struggled.

Police had attempted to contact and locate Li by her cell phone, but it was turned off within ours of Li’s disappearance.
