Man Wanted For Shooting 3 People At Bar While On Duty As Anti-Violence Advocate

Philadelphia, PA – A manhunt is underway for a community crisis intervention program advocate accused of wounding three people during a shooting inside a Philadelphia bar late last month.

Antonio Jardine, who also goes by the alias of Mark Cooper, was on-shift working for the Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PADAVN) when he allegedly opened fire inside a bar in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood on April 30, Philadelphia Police Captain John Walker told KYW.

According to the PADAVN’s Facebook page, the organization has been hailed as “the city’s leading non-profit agency dedicated to addressing the issues of drug abuse and violence in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.”

“We work to transform our youth through drug intervention, counseling, education, job readiness, community service, and various empowerment programs,” the anti-violence program’s page reads.
