Man Gunned Down in Broad Daylight at Busy Philadelphia Gas Station

Surveillance cameras captured a brazen, broad daylight shooting at a busy gas station on Monday. Two assailants, one of whom was equipped with a semi-automatic rifle, shot and killed a 30-year-old man before fleeing in a red sedan.

According to Fox 29 Philadelphia, 30-year-old Brandon Dixon was fatally shot at the Liberty gas station on the 1000 block of East Mount Airy Avenue around 2 p.m. Monday.

Security cameras captured Dixon exiting the gas station before approaching a silver car at one of the pumps. While Dixon was standing by one of the gas pumps, a red Mazda pulls into the gas station while two men exit the vehicle.

Dixon tried to flee but was gunned down as he ran away. One of the shooters was armed with a semi-automatic rifle while the other was firing a handgun.
