Critiquing Harmful Systems While Supporting Individuals: Formula Recalls, Breastfeeding, Ethics

Bonus Hausfrau Friday video!

Permaculture has 3 Ethics: Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share. The multi-billion-dollar baby formula industry violates all three of these.

Millions of families in the US are currently facing potential food insecurity for their babies due to a huge formula shortage thanks to a recall resulting from bacterially-contaminated infant formula that killed two babies and sickened several others.

How do those of us who want to create systems for TRULY sustainable living address food chain/supply issues, corporate greed, the for-profit formula industry, breastfeeding as a human right, access to human milk as an infant’s right, and do so in a way that extends compassion, empathy, non-judgment to mothers and families while also effectively critiquing and reforming corrupt systems? (Hint, it’s not by following old-timey or "wellness guru" recipes for homemade breastmilk substitutes).
