MOI has called upon sponsors, heads of families to rectify the status and pay the fine. Earlier, the ministry had announced that due to COVID-19 lockdown, for those whose residency expired till August 31st will get an automatic extension of their residency till November 30th. However, for those whose residency expired from September 1st will not get this benefit and they will have to pay KD 2 per day.
