Democrats Worked Hard To Put Amy Coney Barrett On The Supreme Court

Judge Amy Coney Barrett is now Justice Amy Coney Barrett, replacing the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. For invoking the “nuclear option” in the Senate back in 2013 and eliminating the filibuster for non-Supreme Court judges, Harry Reid deserves his round of applause. Reid is not the only Democrat to have worked hard on Barrett’s behalf

Big Tech Slept With Communist China And Brought Venereal Censorship Back To America

Big Tech slept with communist China and brought venereal censorship back home to America. This is why it’s always dangerous to treat one-party authoritarian dictatorships as if they’re as harmless as Canada. If you don’t appreciate the intrinsic threat of governments that ban freedom, then they will spread their despotism faster than you can cure their disease. Since Bill Clinton

Jabberwocky Journalism

Jabberwocky is a nonsensical poem written by Lewis Carroll about the slaying of a strange creature known as “the Jabberwock.” In Through the Looking-Glass, Alice discovers a book filled with gibberish that, when held up against a mirror, reveals poetic verse. Though she can read the mirrored stanzas of Jabberwocky, she struggles to comprehend their absurd meaning. In similar form, the presidency of Donald Trump has invited Americans to see their government “through the looking-glass,” as well. What we’ve found these first four years is a media that speaks in riddles and a political system that replaces truth with some reflected version of it. We were warned that Donald Trump’s personal eccentricities made him unsuitable to hold the highest office in the land; instead, his quirkiness has revealed government and media institutions as spinmeisters of the absurd. The American Jabberwock has done everything in its power to devour President Trump, but the American people finally see D.C.’s nonsense for what it is. The media howled that Russian collusion was real, while mocking President Trump’s assertion that the Obama administration spied on his campaign. After years of partisan investigations, no evidence of mythical “collusion” ever materialized, but a mountain of evidence revealing the CIA and FBI’s coordinated efforts to spy on both the Trump campaign and the Trump transition team became impossible to ignore. Hillary Clinton lied about having paid for the creation of the “Russian dossier” used by the FBI to secure the FISA Court’s blessing to spy on Team Trump. Barack Obama and Joe Biden lied about having no knowledge of the spying operation against Trump associates and lied about their role in the malicious prosecution of General Flynn. Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff spent four years running with one unsubstantiated conspiracy theory after the next in an attempt to remove the president from office, and the national press enthusiastically supported his crusade, even though his lies proved outlandish time and time again. Both President Trump and Republican Congressman Devin Nunes truthfully told Americans how Obama’s people had abused the intelligence system to leak to the media illegally obtained and out-of-context communications to create the appearance of wrongdoing by Trump associates. The more truth Trump and Nunes told, the more the national media called them both liars. The more lies spread by Adam Schiff and John Brennan and Jim Comey and Peter Strzok and other Obama loyalists, the more the media lavished them with praise. The Russia story proved how little evidence goes into mainstream reporting. Government sources pushing false narratives are aided and abetted by journalists who can’t be troubled to verify facts or flesh out the motives of anonymous sources. With few exceptions, “investigative” journalism means nothing more than picking up a phone and scribbling down the latest rumor intended to deceive. Jabberwocky journalism insists on painting President Trump as a liar and his assertions as made “without evidence,” while journalists peddle intentional disinformation and call it news. The Russia collusion narrative is disproven, yet journalists won a slew of awards by pushing that fabrication. In contrast, not a single award has been given to those few journalists who followed the facts and slowly but methodically revealed the heart of the scandal to be the Obama administration’s unprecedented use of the intelligence apparatus first to spy on a competing political campaign and then to sabotage the peaceful transfer of power through selective leaking and targeted misdirection. Only journalists reward their own lies, while calling others liars. Nothing has surprised the American Jabberwock more than President Trump’s ability to survive the scandals created by Washington “insiders” against him. Russia collusion, the Mueller inquisition, the Biden Ukraine bribery scandal miraculously turned into a Trump impeachment, a Chinese pandemic maddeningly turned into a national economic shutdown, and local crime enforcement deaths in Democrat-run cities paradoxically turned into nationwide riots by Democrat-aligned shock troops fomenting revolution, have all been pushed by the national press corps as certain to “take the President down” once and for all. “The walls have been closing in” for four years, except the more they close, the better President Trump’s overall voter approval has been. His approval with black Americans and Hispanic Americans is higher than ever. His approval with blue-collar workers is higher than it has been for a Republican president since Reagan. His approval with self-described Republicans is higher than the approval for any president of either political party since Eisenhower. In this “through the looking-glass” Jabberwocky world pushed by Washington insiders in hot pursuit of President Trump, their unrelenting efforts to remove him have actually bolstered his support. How difficult this must be for the political class to understand, especially when any one of these Jabberwocky-created scandals would have succeeded in weakening past Republicans on the national stage beyond political survival. But there’s the rub! Because President Trump is like no Republican ever elected to office, he seems uniquely made to take on the upside-down world Washington runs. How can you force a president’s removal if he refuses to play by the rules Washington writes? How can you intimidate him into surrender when he is happiest in the middle of a fight? How can you solemnly condemn him as “unfit for office,” when he succeeds in mocking Washington as unfit to govern? Political witch-hunts aren’t won by pretending the inquisitors deserve respect; they are won by reminding the American people that Washington has become Salem. Time and again, Washington builds giant bonfires meant for President Trump’s immolation, and each time, the president roasts his critics instead. By refusing to respect the will of American voters, the Washington Jabberwock has unintentionally exposed itself as an un-American smear machine devoid of substance. It speaks in half-truths or outright lies; it starts fires and causes upheaval; it spews nonsense but demands respect. President Trump’s uncanny ability to see the monster for what it is and cut it down to size has altered American politics permanently. He may not yet have slain the beast for good, but everyone can now see it bleeding. COVID-19 may take down an independent news outlet Nobody said running a media site would be easy. The real Peace Prize President

Peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Peace between Israel and Bahrain. Peace between Serbia and Kosovo. And that was all in the last month. Nancy Pelosi may think these latest diplomatic breakthroughs deserve mockery, but then again, like Obama, she thought empowering Iran at Israel’s expense was the path to Middle East peace. Maybe the ruthless real estate developer from Queens has sharper instincts for creating deals between former enemies than the refined experts among the Foggy Bottom crowd are willing to acknowledge. Just a thought. I mean, if you prefer dumping a couple billion dollars in unmarked bills on Iran’s doorstep in the dead of night and setting that theocratic dictatorship on a glide path toward becoming a nuclear superpower in control of the Middle East, then definitely go with the community organizing commander in chief. “Death to America,” after all, sounds exactly the same when chanted by either the Ayatollah’s executioners in Iran or Antifa’s arsonists in Oakland and Minneapolis. But if you’re looking to achieve real peace between bitter foes, then at some point, you throw out the laughably ineffective diplomatic playbook and bring in a real “ringer.” And that’s just what America did in 2016. Wake up, Washington! This is what winning looks like! It must all be pretty confusing for an establishment class that prefers talking about solutions but never actually achieving any and bending so far backwards for our geopolitical enemies that our normal M.O. is to pay them for the pleasure of kicking ourselves in the ass. “Peace through strength” is more than a slogan; it’s good policy. It’s just that the Obama administration foolishly believed fake American strength would somehow secure real and enduring peace. Remember how Iran ran roughshod over Obama, routinely threatening our naval vessels while the American president begged for a nuclear deal that would justify his Nobel Prize? I know the press corps found it enchanting that both John Kerry and Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif could sip tea like gentlemen while Iran was busy taking American sailors hostage, smuggling heroine into the United States, and threatening Israel’s genocide, but sometimes you throw etiquette out the window, smash the china on the ground, toss the table upside down, and set new terms for negotiation. Obama was determined to lead from behind, and bad actors around the world were happy to exploit his weakness. Out of naiveté, ideological sympathy, and spinelessness, he managed to hand Russia power in Syria and a foothold in the Middle East for the first time since the end of the Cold War, open up a Shiite Crescent for the Iranians to exert control from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea, and reconcile with Cuba’s murderous communists in our own backyard. If bowing down to Putin, Khamenei, and Castro seemed downright brilliant, then Obama was your guy. The problem is Obama was also Russia’s guy, Iran’s guy, and Cuba’s guy, too. How strange and refreshing it is to know that President Trump is just America’s guy! How satisfying it is to have an American president who doesn’t feel the need to beg Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah to stop killing our friends. When terrorists kill our friends these days, they end up dead. Americans have watched “experts” at the U.N. and the U.S. State Department justify Islamic terrorism against Israel as a negotiating tactic for border disputes that have been raging since 1948. President Trump looked at a hundred years of failure in securing the peace between Israel and her neighbors and decided the insiders were playing a game that couldn’t be won. So he changed the game. Some problems must be made bigger before they can be fixed. He stopped pretending that the conflict was between Jews and Muslims in the West Bank and started focusing on the real Arab power brokers holding up a deal for peace. And he stopped trying to create one deal that would appeal to every country with an opinion and instead concentrated on bilateral deals that pinpointed the particular interests of each party in the region. There’s no point in insisting on one splashy deal with all the bells and whistles in the world if the negotiation takes decades to complete. Sometimes, a hundred little deals can get you past the finish line to peace. This is what it’s like to have an American president actually interested in the art of the deal. It turns out that breakthroughs once thought impossible are actually quite possible. But not if your negotiation team consists of a bunch of Peace Corps veterans with masters in international diplomacy and your chief weapon is to unpack James Taylor when the going gets tough. No, if you’re sitting across the table from sharks, you better have razor-sharp teeth, too. It’s amazing that it took so long for a real businessman to come along, shake his head at the State Department, and say, “That’s not how you get to ‘yes.’” Three peace deals in a matter of weeks are just the beginning. One trade deal at a time, one defense deal at a time, one peace deal at a time, the Trump Era will one day be remembered as the period during which America’s foreign policy re-structured the world. And peace is the prize. No wonder China says it strongly prefers a Biden presidency because President Trump is too unpredictable at the negotiating table. In the past, China simply paid off America’s liberal political elites before robbing her blind. Now they’ve got an American adversary who not only can’t be bought off but who actually enjoys the fight. During the Obama-Biden years, China faced a poodle; with President Trump, they must fend off a tiger. And just as these most recent peace deal triumphs prove, tigers get results. How long before Obama starts taking credit again for Trump’s economy?

I’m guessing by this time next month Obama will be telling everyone who’ll listen that he deserves credit for the explosion in economic activity around the country. Think how discouraging all this encouraging economic news must be for Democrats. The unemployment rate is back in single digits within months of the greatest labor market disturbance in a hundred years. After losing a third of its value in the spring when Wuhan panic went viral, the stock market has risen past pre-pandemic levels once again. And consumer confidence and new home construction are rising faster than thought possible. It took Obama over four years to do what President Trump has pulled off in four months. Obama spent the first three years of Trump’s presidency claiming credit for his successor’s ability to produce an economic resurgence unseen since the years after WWII. Then he quickly abandoned Americans by inexplicably defending China’s actions in precipitating a global pandemic and recession, while laughably casting President Trump as the real villain. And now the American economy is about to explode like a corked champagne bottle sunning on a Death Valley boulder. Economies around the world are still stuck in neutral or reverse, while America’s is about to take off like a rocket. What will Obama say now? That he could have done better? Or pushed recovery faster? That President Trump’s herculean efforts at saving America’s economy from near destruction were only possible because of Obamacare? Please. If Obama and Biden had been steering the American economic ship when this Chinese iceberg hit us in the middle of the night, they would have knocked over women and children to rush onto lifeboats with Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, and all the other Democratic Party “1%,” while writing sad poetry about the Americans unavoidably sinking to their watery graves below. President Trump’s quick-minded and brilliant economic workarounds during this time of emergency not only saved the American ship from sinking but also chopped that iceberg into pieces so fast that we’re selling the ice cubes back to China one trade deal at a time. If Hillary had been president when the Chinese coronavirus came calling at 3 AM, we’d still be diagnosing the problem right now with picture graphs before agency committees concerned with whether there are enough members who identify as multiracial pansexuals for their “woke” economics to succeed. Trump snapped into action so swiftly that he’s already managed to bring the economy into better shape than it was during most of Obama’s two terms. I wonder how Democrats like those apples. All these Americans going back to work, the growth in warehouse inventories, and increases in consumer demand are going to dovetail into an “unexpected” jump in small business confidence and sustained stock market expansion. Even with markets springing and sliding more erratically in the short term as investors struggle to use forecast models that can’t accurately interpret six months of underlying economic data from our self-imposed “idling period,” future consumer expectations, investment, and construction indices all signal explosive economic growth in the months ahead. And while the boards of directors of our biggest companies continue to campaign for Democrats (proving that some very wealthy people are too dumb to understand that their Faustian bargain with the Marxist socialists will only last long enough for Bernie Sanders’s revolution in the streets to succeed), it is clear that the millions of independent investors making decisions each day know that economic growth is linked to a Trump presidency. Each day that President Trump looks more likely to win re-election, the markets react positively. Each day the markets react positively, President Trump’s odds of re-election rise. The political futures market and the economic futures market are so interwoven right now that any honest economic observer should marvel at how much wealth will either appear or disappear based on whether President Trump remains in power. His captaincy of the American economy is the single most important variable in predicting future economic trends, and his value to economic growth is literally reflected in the stock market as worth trillions of dollars. In contrast, “Round 2” of the Obama-Biden economic doldrums promises more intrusive government healthcare, new rounds of Solyndra boondoggles in the name of Bernie’s Green New Deal, plunging home values from the Democrats’ attempts to re-make the suburbs into the utopian image of the cities they’ve already burned to the ground, and vast redistribution of wealth to address the left’s priority of income inequality over intergenerational mobility (because the former feeds into personal envies of the present, while the latter speaks to our hopes for our children’s futures) with quixotic schemes that manage to accomplish nothing but further lining the pockets of Democrat donors and crony capitalists. Obama gave us the slowest economic recovery in a hundred years; the socialists who will run Biden’s presidency think they can do better by dragging America’s economy (and people) into prolonged depression. You can’t “fundamentally transform” America, after all, until you first use the power of government to destroy the free market. Free markets, free speech, and free peoples are all incompatible with the socialist project Democrats are itching to unleash. President Trump has helped create an economy that lifted more Americans from poverty than at any time in our history. Under his “America First” policies, investment capital and manufacturing labor are coming home again. For three decades, the greatest theft in the history of the world has been transferring American wealth to communist China and off-shoring American jobs to areas of the planet where slave labor is still encouraged. To the amazement (and consternation) of the globe’s biggest financial players, the president has managed to stop this generational heist in its tracks, while redirecting it straight back to the forgotten towns of Middle America. Main Street, not the trans-national corporate behemoths manipulating Wall Street for foreign advantage, is taking over. And in President Trump’s second term, Main Street will finally rule over Wall Street once and for all. The millions of independent actors moving the stock market know that President Trump is capable of unleashing an American economy that will secure American dominance for centuries. They know that a weak-willed sclerotic Biden presidency serving as a “Trojan horse” for the Marxists will open the door for socialist tyrants to finally finish America off. There’s never been a more clear example of the power of free markets and deregulation to do what government-controlled economic micromanaging can never accomplish. A Trump presidency is worth trillions of dollars for American workers and American investors; a Biden presidency isn’t worth the cost of a Che Guevara t-shirt.
